VIZIEZ - JENGA
Viziez, a.k.a Chase team member Mitchell Galle is a rapper from Dendermonde who's signed on SG records and has been around for a couple of years now. He came back with a new Flemish banger to announce that his upcoming album is ready. 'Jenga' is a very honest track about society expecting too much of him, flowing on a catchy beat by producer Luvvustiv.
LOUS AND THE YAKUZA - DILEMME
Congolese - Rwandese artist Lous and the Yakuza came to Belgium to make her dream of being a music artist come true. Last week she released her debut trap pop single ‘Dilemme’ including an incredible music video. The track was produced by El Guicho, often doing the production for Rosalía. Lous and the Yakuza her debut album 'Gore' will be released soon, so stay tuned!
JOKKE - PAAR BARZ 3
Strong lyrics, good flow and a music video we had to watch twice; talking about a good combination! The young rapper from Leuven dropped his first EP 'Op Een Dag' at the start of this month, quickly followed up by a couple of music videos directed by Repsaaj. This young talent from Belgium is signed under fresh label Moulin Rouge entertainment. Keep an eye on them, it might be worth it.
CHARDY - BITCH NIGGAS
This is an artist we want to see on 101Barz in the future! The catchy beat, produced by Absi, is one which could've been made by BeatsByEsko. Chardy himself was born in The Netherlands but moved to Belgium when he was eight, which explains his Dutch accent. After dropping four other songs this year, we can't wait until this talent drops an EP.
YUNG MAVU FT CHUKI BEATS - FAMILY
Both of these guys have established their names in the Belgian hip-hop scene already. Mavu, who dropped another EP this year called 'Hi, I'm Pierre', and Chuki Beats, who can call himself the number one hip-hop producer in our little country, sat together to drop a complete album called 'Matter of Time'. 'Family' dropped last week as an announcement for the album, a song about the importance of the people close to you. If you haven't listened yet, you should. Because these guys are going places!
