5 new Belgian hip-hop tracks to check out: Jazzy Bench, Miss Angel & more
Every week, we select five new Belgian hip-hop bangers that somehow caught our attention. Keep sending us new tracks or EP releases via email@example.com, and maybe your name will be on the list next Friday. While you're waiting for the albums you asked for under the Christmas tree, or pumping the Kodak Black version of 'All I Want for Christmas', there are some new Belgian hip-hop tracks that came out. Let's go!
JAZZY BENCH - NO GAMES
Part of Belgian hip-hop collective Soul'Art, Jazzy Bench just dropped his third solo track including a quality music video. The Brussels' rapper sat together with Elke Vanoost for the music video, and Chubby Beatz & Yvng Foreign were the masters behind the beat production.
MISS ANGEL - FEMALE LEGEND
One of Belgian hip-hop's finest, Miss Angel, is back. The rapper from Antwerp has been making hit after hit and this one fits perfectly in that row. 'Female legend' is a big mood for all the ladies in the room. Miss Angel better be crowned Queen Angel in 2020!
DWORFI - OMHOOG
After getting more than a million streams on previous tracks in 2019, Dworfi released his last track of the year this week. We already knew him from 'Digital Love', his feature with Larpie, who's half of the hip-hop duo Larpie and Quintano. Dworfi his latest track 'Omhoog' is about personal growth and about getting where he wants to be.
CEDJE FT RASTA G - LINK UP
Cedje has been taking over 2019 and our Belgian hip-hop list for sure. He's back again with another track, in between starting his own label O'fifteen Records, including Scopefrom91 who was featured in last week's article. This track is from an international level, inspired by our neighbors up in the north. Catchy enough to become a hit, danceable enough for New Year's Eve in the club.
HAMZA - GOD BLESS FT. DAMSO
Hamza, Belgium hip-hop's sauce god, and Damso sat down in the studio to make a new track. One for the books, as they are both big names in the French-Belgian scene. Hamza also released a new album called 'Santa Sauce 2' this week. 'God Bless' features English and French lyrics combined with a world-class beat made by PANAMAERA. There's nothing left to say, just check the track out!

While the youth may experience some difficulties growing up, many turn their experiences into creative energy. We're taking a closer look at some of the local creatives in this first part of our two-part mini-documentary.
