6 new Belgian hip-hop tracks to check out: Chibi Ichigo, Leblanc & more!

This is what we like to call, a really good bi-weekly selection. We came across a bunch of new names to add to our famous Belgian hip hop list. Our Spotify playlist became a perfect collection of 2020’s best hip hop from our country. With Russian, English, French, Dutch and more languages on steady produced beats. In the meantime, we still love hearing from you at music@chase.be for new releases.

Chibi Ichigo x UM! - Onschuldig

CHIBI ICHIGO FT. UM! - ONSCHULDIG

A power couple releasing a track together is everything we needed to end a shitty ass year. This is mesmerizingly scary, and looking at the art in the video, UM!’s pose is perfectly describing how we were trying to hang in there the past twelve months. Also, this beat is amazing. No wonder UM!’s album was in the selection of the RBEA best album category.

Jimmy Bounce ft. KJ - Blessings

JIMMY BOUNCE FT. KJ - BLESSINGS

Yooo, can we go straight to summer 2021 to dance our asses off on this track? These men are the guys you want at your party, bringing good vibes only. This is their very first release, with which they made clear what to expect from them in the future. Also, we love how they pay tribute to their girlfriends with this track.

Siz-S - Premier Amour

SIZ-S - PREMIER AMOUR

It appears that every artist at the moment has something with lovey-dovey vibes, and we are not mad about it. The Doornik rapper Siz-S got in the studio with Rachel Ter-Borch Gram Lilienfeldt for this release. He already has two amazing musical projects, and let’s hope we’re getting more of it. This is exactly the type of artists we were waiting for. The Belgian hip hop scene is looking better than ever.

Elengi Ya Trafic - Dangereux

ELENGI YA TRAFIC - DANGEREUX

Music label Jeunes Boss is coming through with the most incredible French rapping artists. This French drill track is dark, heavy, and raw. Just how we like it if it comes to drill or trap. We have been keeping our eyes on this Brussels based collective. Their first single Presentation was in our playlist earlier, yet this one is even better. A steady evolution.

LeBlanc ft. Fresh Boogie - A12

LEBLANC FT. FRESH BOOGIE - A12

If there is something we love to see at Chase Music, it is bi-lingual tracks. Combining two different languages is difficult, definitely musical-wise. Yet, these two young artists from Brussels do it perfectly. An excellent way of showing how diverse not only their city but also the whole Belgian hip-hop scene is.

JRK9 ft. Hoxmen and NS - Geen Shank

JRK9 FT. HOXMEN AND NS - GEEN SHANK

Another addition to our list is JRK9. The young Ghent based rapper just released his very first track, produced by Dakz. The beat is a catchy type of trap thing, stuck in your head for the upcoming week. Not only the rapper but also the videographers, Romy Water and Leon, made their debut with this one.
