PKP DWNTWN: bringing Pukkelpop into the city centre of Hasselt
We’re almost halfway through the festival season, which means we can start to look forward to Pukkelpop, taking place from August 15 to 19. If the wait is killing you, we have some good news: lots of cool activities in Hasselt will precede the festival this year.
Starting from August 10, the city of Hasselt will organise numerous events, workshops and activities in collaboration with the festival, De Serre Hasselt and Muziekodroom. On August 10, you’ll even be able to experience some Pukkelpop artists ahead of the festival thanks to the guys at De Serre Hasselt. Just come to Groenplein and dance all night on music from Tofec, Niels Kenis, A Local Hero, Bearsøme, Bjeor and Timmerman. Not into DJs? August 11 will host promising live acts. Come and see Project Cucuron (which consists of Susobrino, Pippin, Audri, Corrupted and more) and noise pop band SHHT.
Besides that, you can pay a visit to the festival and streetwear market, sell your own clothes and accessories, experience a pop-up escape room and much more. All these events and activities can be found at Groenplein, Molenpoortplein and Capucienenplein. Make sure to stop by!
