Roméo Elvis wins second Chase Award at Red Bull Elektropedia Awards
For the second year in a row the public rewarded the best hip hop act at the Red Bull Elektropedia Awards with a Chase Award. This year's first place went to Brussels wonderboy Roméo Elvis. Last year's winner Woodie Smalls ended up second, followed by Coely on third place.
Roméo Elvis has been one of the most talked about MCs in Brussels and Wallonia in recent years. During the past year he dropped the EP 'Morale' in collaboration with producer Le Motel. But it was his video for 'Bruxelles Arrive' and his numerous guest appearances at hip hop shows during the festival summer that made him famous all over Belgium. He also featured on the Stikstof track 'Dobberman' which they performed together at the now legendary Niveau4 show at Couleur Café.
