‘Het Hendrikshuis’ isn’t only a shop where you can find cool gadgets, jewellery and clothing. It’s actually a social workspace that helps to guarantee sustainable employment to disadvantaged groups. They do this by working with people that can’t find a job easily on the regular job market. They also support similar organisations by selling their products in their store. Everything you can find at Het Hendrikshuis is durable, local or social.

In this shop, you’ll find everything a skater can dream of. From skateboards to clothing that matches the lifestyle. With 20 years of experience in the shop & 30 years of skateboard experience, visitors know they get the best service and advice possible.
At Pocomatto you can eat no-nonsense Italian food. This style is also reflected in its branding and interior design. During the covid closure of restaurants, their great dishes are served as takeaway meals if you make reservations.
At Paplou, you will find gadgets, clothing and jewellery, that reflect the idea the Paplou-team lives by. The products are all carefully chosen by the owner and fit a sustainable and durable lifestyle. Just across the street ‘Sessa’, a store filled with sustainable items for children is run by the same owner. To visit the shop in corona times, just make a reservation on their website.
Fietsbar is a coffee bar and bicycle repair shop. Due to covid-19, The bar is temporarily closed and will re-open in March 2021. However, you can still stop by to get your trusty bicycle repaired at ‘Fietsmaker’.
As one of the vegan hotspots of Hasselt, Peas is doing everything to convince clients that vegan food does not need to be boring.
