Who wins the 2nd Chase Award at the Red Bull Elektropedia Awards? Vote now!
For the second year in a row we are handing out a Chase Award for the best Belgian hip hop act at the Red Bull Elektropedia Awards. Last year Woodie Smalls was the well-deserved winner of the first Chase Award. This year the awards will be handed out on November 16 at Flagey in Brussels.
This past year the Chase team has been working hard to put together a huge longlist of hiphop acts. Every Belgian rapper/mc or hip hop group that released something between October 1, 2015 and September 30, 2016 got added to the list. From that list a Chase Award jury of 24 people consisting of DJs, bookers, programmers and bloggers each chose 3 names. Those votes led to a list of 10 nominees for the Chase Award.
These are the nominees in alphabetical order:
Caballero & JeanJass
From today until November 9th you can vote for your favorite artists in the Chase Award and all other RBEA categories. Vote HERE. For more info about the nomintation process and our Chase jury check here.
