Dvtch Norris is working on a new album, which he showed us via his Instagram Stories. While waiting for that one, we got some fresh Belgian hip-hop tracks for you guys to listen to. Let's go!

Article and selection by Yaell Monas

Ghent-based rapper Bryan Mg is celebrating his own birthday by releasing a new track together with producer BMP$. "BACK ON MY TRAPSHIT!" said the announcement, and he's not lying. In 'Be My Guest', he explains what life's like as an emerging rapper from Belgium. After getting over two million views on his music video 'Hard to Get', we didn't expect anything else from him than another banger to start off the weekend.

AkB - Liefdesdrang

New name alert! Antwerp native rapper, producer and actor AkB just dropped his very first music video, shot by Diego Nurse, combined with a complete album consisting of twenty tracks. His album, 'Dit ben ik, this is me', tells the autobiographic story of a young kid who was put in juvenile prison because there was no place for him anymore in the juvenile institution where he had stayed until then. During this journey, it was music that always kept him going.

A'Danté Morris - Nightshift

While we are patiently waiting for his EP 'Pain for Pleasure', Ghentian rapper with Ghanese roots A'Danté Morris released another tune. Together with producer duo Mathieux Lenoir and Matthieu Van Laethem this song was born. While combining softness and trap vibes, the career of this rapper could be blowing up pretty soon. We'll keep our eyes and ears open!

Rare Akuma ft Benz Pharaoh - SAINT!

If you are into heavy hip-hop, rage core or bass that tingles your ears and you don't know Rare Akuma, you must have been living on another planet the past year. The Antwerp rapper and producer dropped a new EP called 'it'll be okay.' and got into the studio with Benz Pharaoh for the track SAINT! Belgian hip-hop at its best.

Les Alchimistes - Russuk

Rusko and Rizno did it again and released a track that fits in no box at all. Should we call it hardcore hip-hop if they are screaming from the back of an ambulance with the door open? We called them emo rap before, but it seems like Les Alchimistes aren’t done experimenting with different types of hip-hop yet!
