5 new Belgian hip-hop tracks to start the weekend: Safi, Geeeko & more

Every week, we select five new Belgian hip-hop bangers that somehow caught our attention. Keep sending us new tracks or EP releases via, and maybe your name will be on the list next Friday. Tiewai just dropped his new album 'Winterslag Miljonair', which we announced two weeks ago, and NRJ's Open Mic is back. While you upcoming rappers are subscribing for the contest, we searched the internet for new Belgian hip-hop bangers. Let's go!

Yung AndY, an upcoming trap artist from the Belgian coast, released a new song about Glocks, purple and green. Representing GTT, a rap gang from the Belgian coast, and being influenced by the movement of Atlanta based rappers, Andy could be going oversees sooner or later. The rapper will be performing live in Contrast Club on October 29, together with fellow trappers Rare Akuma and Lil Skid.

Vinci - Fall

23-year old Vinci from Leuven just dropped the first track of his upcoming EP 'Baksteen' releasing on October 25. After dropping his first EP 'Controle', with a feature by Zwangere Guy on it, he received very good national and international comments. We knew we had to keep an eye open on this guy, and now we are falling for this new song (pun intended).

Safi - Bodem (prod. by Cloos)

Safi is back with a new EP 'Bleu' and a video for one of its tracks 'Bodem'. The rapper, who is also known as one half of former rap duo Safi & Spreej, has been making a name in the Belgian hip-hop scene for years now. Tonight, he is hosting a sold-out release show for his new album at Transit M., in his hometown Mechelen. In 'Bodem', he speaks up about what it feels like to be a rapper and how heavy it is emotionally.

Geeeko - Fuckd Up/Fendi

French rapping artist Geeeko from Brussels just dropped his very first music video for his two latest track Fuckd Up and Fendi. With seven songs made in the past two years, the rapper is a relatively new name, but his Fuckd Up/Fendi double release was produced by the best of Belgium: Chuki Beats. Two songs about struggles in the paradise of love combined in an aesthetically beautiful music video and good outfits. Belgian hip-hop at its finest.

Wavey Vayn - Wood

After dropping his first single 'stress' last year and an EP following that single, Wavey Vayn is now back with a new single. The Antwerp based rapper with Nigerian roots knows exactly how to combine hip-hop and R&B to show off his state of mind in his lyrics and songs. 'Wood' definitely is a good follow-up song after dropping a strong EP!
