Every week we make a selection of Belgian hip-hop bangers that somehow caught our attention. Belgian artists have been cooking some real heat recently, so for valentines day we are serving fresh hip-hop on a bed of firm beats. Join us for dinner and enjoy our selection. Let's go!

Keep sending us new tracks or EP releases via music@chase.be, and maybe you will be featured in the future.

MEDS - Sativa

MEDS - SATIVA

Last year we premiered MEDS first single ‘How Do I Know’ at Chase and this year she's ready to take over the R&B scene. Her voice caught our attention by being soulful and catchy. She even got the chance to be the support act for American soul singer Macy Gray. MEDS is our own Belgian cocktail of IAMDDB and Jorja Smith. Sativa is her first single of many, and we are loving it.

Longwa The Farao - Night Time

LONGWA THE FARAO - NIGHT TIME

Ostend based Longwa The Farao is back with a new track. Longwa released his first EP in 2016 and felt ready to drop a second EP at the beginning of this year. He is now dropping singles and music videos to keep himself creative. It's clear that Longwa gets his inspiration from artists such as Travis Scott and Roddy Rich, which is exactly what our Belgian trap scene needs.

Hollow Heart - It Means Nothing To Me

HOLLOW HEART - IT MEANS NOTHING TO ME

We already sat down with Hollow Heart a while ago to talk about emo rap and the Belgian emo rap scene. The rapper now released a new track including a music video made by Kasper D'Haenens. Emo rap is not as big in Belgium as it is on an international level, but if there's one name to keep in mind it's this guy.

Dyce - I don't wanna kill myself, yet, but I've thought about it

DYCE - I DON'T WANNA KILL MYSELF, YET, BUT I'VE THOUGHT ABOUT IT

Yo Dyce, should we be worried about that title? Dyce is becoming the next big thing in our hip-hop scene and we can't be happier about it. This song shows Dyce has a strong voice, The Weeknd like. This track even contains the same type of beat switch, voice switch and depressing but good love vibe. So can you please not kill yourself. We need more of this.

Grizmo - Paralysed

GRIZMO - PARALYSED

We barely come across Belgian grime artists, but Grizmo is one to keep an eye on. He just released his very first EP consisting of six strong tracks. Although he's from Belgium, Grizmo knows how to pull off a UK accent.

ISHA ft. Green Montana - Bad Boy

ISHA FT. GREEN MONTANA - BAD BOY

Brussels based rapper Isha is back with a new track, featuring Green Montana. The French rapping artist is known for his punchlines and for being a brutally honest rapper. 'Bad Boy' contains all of Isha's known features, and so does his whole new album called La Vie Augmente (Vol.3).

Glints - Minimum Wage

GLINTS - MINIMUM WAGE

More grime vibes from Belgium. Glints has just released the last single in anticipation off his upcoming album which will be releasing on March 6. An honest track about struggling with money, bills and dead-end jobs. And about how, even for Glints, the end of the month is a son of a bitch. He will be throwing a big release party at Ancienne Belgique that same night. If you can't wait until March 6, you can already memorize the lyrics to Bugatti, Gold Veins, Fear and Minimum Wage so you can scream along.
