ESG Reporting: An Essential Step Toward Sustainable Success
ESG stands for Environmental, Social, and Governance. Simply put, it assesses how companies contribute to a more sustainable and socially responsible world. It's similar to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), but with greater international recognition. ESG is becoming increasingly important, especially due to new European regulations that require companies to report their impact in these areas.

New Laws, New Standards

This year, the EU introduced the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), which requires European companies to report on their sustainability performance in the ESG area. This new law brings (European) standards known as the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), which help companies report consistently and make their impact transparent. Although not all companies fall under this law, its effects can be widely felt.

ESG 🤝 SDG

ESG and the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) go hand in hand. The SDGs are 17 sustainable development objectives designed to create a world without poverty, protect the planet, and promote prosperity for all. So, what's the link with ESG? Many of these goals can be achieved faster through ESG practices.
