In this way, we got 16 million views with a campaign on sustainable mobility
Getting more people on bicycles — that was the challenge with which the Federal Public Service for Mobility and Transport came to us. That's why we set up the Chase Bike Creators project last year. The result? A strong community of bicycle ambassadors and bicycle influencers who put sustainable mobility on the map throughout Belgium, and convinced brands and organizations of the power of influencer marketing.

Creators and influencers who put cycling on the map

With 20 creators and influencers, we spent 8 months showing how the bike can be a smart, feasible and even fun choice. Shopping and taking 3 children to school with a cargo bike like Elisabeth or to the VRT by road bike through the rain and wind to present the weather forecast like Bram the weatherman did: our creators brought real stories.

Impact in numbers

The results speak for themselves:

  • +16 million organic views through 600+ posts and stories.
  • 6.7 million unique people reached.
  • 20 creators and influencers who shared content every week and nearly 100 bike creators in the community.
  • Collaborations with, among others Tenways, Ez Ride E-Bike Hub, Sumura, Red Bull ...
  • Thousands of Belgians who now consider their bikes more often as a commute to work.
  • 80 brands connected during Velofollies.
  • 4 structural partnerships with a future perspective.

This project proves that a creative and authentic approach via influencers not only provides reach, but can actually stimulate behavioral change.

Velofollies: from creator booth to mini-conference

A key moment in the process was Velofollies, the largest bicycle fair in the Benelux with more than 40,000 visitors. Chase wasn't just there, we made something special about it, as you can see in the video below by Camille - one of our bike creators -:

We provided:

  • One Bike Creator Booth
  • Daily content production by creators, live from the event
  • One bike creator conference under the heading Influencing Cycling Culture, with talks by bike creators such as Elodie Kuijper, Bertoniiii, Tom Desplechin and panels on how brands and creators can collaborate with Niki De Keuster (Marketing Manager Canyon Belgium), Elisabeth Van Lierop (Influencer) & Sven De Coninck (CEO Chase Agency).

We brought brands, influencers, and cyclists together - and it worked. The fair became a hotbed for collaboration and visibility. Creators created content, visitors joined the community, brands like Tenways and EZ Ride found their way to new campaigns.

Ride, Brunch & Bakery Rave

We ended the Bike Creator project as it should: with style and schwung. On June 28, 2025, we organized in the iconic Winter circus in Ghent the closing event: Social Ride, Brunch & Bakery Rave.

What was on the program?

  • A 50 km joint morning ride with more than 70 participants
  • Brunch from Baker Klaas
  • Talks and reflections on mobility, content and behavior
  • An unexpected ending: a rave among the croissants

Watch the aftermovie of this unique event below. Spoiler: it makes you want to jump on your bike.

Why this approach works

  • Authentic Voices: the creators and influencers are themselves passionate cyclists.
  • Community first: we did not build a one-off campaign, but a group of ambassadors.
  • Measurable impact: not only views and reach, but also proven behavioral change.
  • Flexibility for brands: campaigns can be perfectly tailored to their own goals.

Brands convinced

The strength of the community did not go unnoticed. Bicycle brands such as Tenways participated: together, we achieved 3.5 million views for their summer campaign in Belgium and the Netherlands.

For the sector, this was a clear signal: influencers are an indispensable channel for making an impact on mobility and lifestyle.

What this means for organizations and brands

Chase Bike Creators shows that the combination of community building and influencer marketing provides powerful results — for government, organizations and brands.

Whether you want to convince people to travel more sustainably, connect your brand more strongly to the cycling experience, or reach a wide audience with authentic stories: we have the creators, the experience and the approach to make it happen.
