Compeed wants to reach young adults who suffer from pimples, blackheads and impurities. The anti-imperfection patches protect, soothe and cleanse the skin. But do people link Compeed to anything other than blisters? The challenge: to market Compeed as a skincare brand.
The goal is clear: increase brand awareness among young adults and successfully launch anti-imperfection patches on the local market. This question led Compeed to Chase.
Compete meets Chase Creators
Chase was responsible for the total package from A to Z (pure skin) with one goal in mind: TikTok-first videos. No “flat commerce”, but authentic and convincing content. We come up with fun ideas, do location scouting, select suitable creators with an eye for diversity, write scripts and put together a film crew. We translate high-scoring TikTok formats into Compeed's corporate identity and provide a Dutch-language approach every time. With appropriate captions, hashtags and emojis, of course. In short, we provide a lot of great content on the social media platform for young people par excellence. And that should be seen.
The selection process of the creators here is crucial. We portray niche creators with a small but loyal community who don't necessarily have “perfect skin”. The focus is on authenticity and familiarity: we work with UGC creators. Each creator creates their own content at home and we organize scripted shoots in collab with the creators. The result is a strong strategy with varied, recognisable and believable videos that make you, as a viewer, think: “Wow, she understands me!”

POVs, behind-the-scenes, honest reviews, and more. We create content and keep creating. Enough videos to stay active on Compeed's TikTok channel for up to four months. With success, because thanks to the impact of the authentic creator content, we can make more impact with less advertising budget: our videos reach just under 10M profiles that provide almost 15M video views and tens of thousands of engagement actions.
